13 Spanish Persimon Recipes

As Spanish Persimons are in season and all ready to buy at all major supermarkets, I thought now would be a good time to share 13 different Spanish Persimon Recipes.

In season and available from mid-October until January. Spanish persimon® are a delicious fruit with a delicate flavour similar to a peach or a mango.

Persimon’s are the golden delicious fruits that hang off the trees after the leaves drop in autumn.

13 Spanish Persimon Recipes:

1.) Persimon® and Pomegranate Pavlova Star:

How sweet is this Persimon® and Pomegranate Pavlova Star? This gorgeous meringue dessert is made with whisked egg whites and caster sugar, piped or spread out into a star shape.

It’s slowly baked, then topped with whipped cream, sliced Spanish Persimon® and pomegranate seeds.

Perfect for a dinner party, Christmas or a weekend treat.

2.) Persimon® Star Scones:

Persimon® Star Scones. This is an easy, homely way to serve Persimon® – chopped up in a simple scone recipe, then served with Persimon® conserve and clotted cream.

    Wow I've never heard of this fruit before but boy do you use and sell it well! That pavlova star looks amazing and I would love to try the croissants! Hungry just looking at all these awesome foodie pics!

    This is one of my favorite fruits but I usually just serve it fresh or in a lettuce salad with avocado and red onion. I have to try some of these, I think I'll start with the superstar salad. You have a seriously pretty blog here!Amaliaxo
