33 Ideas For Our Summer Bucket List.
Hello friends.
Do you write down cool ideas to do for when the big 6 week’s holidays arrive?
We do and here is this years ideas:
3 more days left at school for my youngest 2 children.
Then it is time to chill, relax and have some summer fun!
We are now writing our summer bucket list so we can look back each week and see what we have and have not done yet!
Here is our bucket list:
33 Ideas For Our Summer Bucket List:
1.) Go To The Beach:
It has been a full year since we have been to the beach. We can not wait to go.
Paddling in the sea, looking for seashells and fun seeing who can make the biggest sandcastles!
2.) Take Lots Of Train Rides:
Lots of days out on the train to here, there and everywhere.
3.) Have A BBQ:
We love to eat outside but our outdoor table has broken, so we need to get a new one, clean up the BBQ and start eating outside again.
4.) Visit Bakewell in Derbyshire:
We all love Bakewell. Lots of cool walks and a great day out when the Bakewell show is on, vintage fair or the dog shows are on the showground.
Also yummy chips and Bakewell tarts!!
5.) Rounders:
We love to just go to the park and set up a small game of rounders. There is usually just us 3 so we bowl our on balls and have 2 fielders. It works great.
6.) Early Morning Runs:
Me and my youngest son have decided to get up early and run 3 miles.
Before the sun comes out.
Not sure how long this plan will last for!?!
7.) Visit Matlock in Derbyshire:
We love a visit to Matlock. Fun hill to run up, beautiful things to see like the above waterfalls, slot machines and ice creams are our favourite things here.
8.) Play Tennis:
The tennis courts are busy at the minute with Wimbledon being on. So we will be getting up early to get a court.
9.) Visit Clumber Park In Nottingham:
A place I fancy visiting this year. Not been for over 20 years so it would be good to go and pay a visit.
10.) Victoria Embankment, Nottingham:
There is always something fun happening at the Embankment.

When there is no events on it is nice to chill out around the parks, look at the river and take lots of photos of the beautiful flowers here.
11.) Sherwood Forest, Nottingham:
Not to far away so why do we never visit!?! The land of Robin Hood on our doorstep, how cool?
12.) The Gym :
Not just one for me.
I wonder if I get to use my membership this year!?!
I was a member of a gym last year and never used it in the summer holidays once.
Must try harder this year!
Also a cool outside gym free for the children to use at a few parks.
13.) Visit Lincoln in Lincolnshire:
Always a fun day in Lincoln.
I love the one off vintage shops, town centre and looking around Lincoln Cathedral.
14.) Basket Ball:
We love basket ball. Last holidays we brought everyone a basket ball.
So up early to get the free courts at the local park, before the other children come to play footballers at the same nets.
15.) Lots Of Walking Mollie To The Parks:
This one of our bucket list will happen most days.
Goes with having a puppy.

5 parks in 5 hours sound like such fun! I think you are in for a busy summer. I used to do lots with our kids in the holidays but they are all pretty much grown up now and do less and less with me! We do have a pancake tradition so always have pancakes for breakfast at least 3 times during the holidays, there are so cheap and lovely it's a shame to only have them once a year!
Wow, that is a lengthy list. You're going to have an incredibly busy summer! I love your pictures too; some lovely photos there. #Weekendbloghop
Thanks Alison 🙂
