According to Tesco, demand for pineapple is accelerating, with sales increasing by around 15% in the last year. In fact, pineapples are now the fastest growing fruit in the UK and it’s no wonder pineapples are proving so popular.

I just love pineapple. I rarely end up cooking with it though since I tend to eat quite a bit of it as I chop it up. I do love it with plain yogurt and granola for breakfast as a parfait.

Hi Claire, I never knew pineapples grew in England! Okay, I know what you meant, but I couldn't help myself. I do like a nice ripe pineapple and you've shared some tasty sounding recipes.
