All The Fun On The Carousel At Butlins In Skegness. Hello friends. So how are you today? This week I’m linking up our fun at the fairground with Coombe Mill for our outdoor adventures.
We don’t do many fairground rides but one ride we all love is the carousel.
When we went to Butlins for a few days at the beginning of the holidays this was the ride we all had most fun on, even me!!
All The Fun On The Carousel At Butlins In Skegness:
What does A Carousel Do? What serves as a carousel? A rotating, circular amusement attraction called a carousel has seating for both adults and children. Sometimes you can fit a few people in a seat for people who are to young or old to get onto an horse.
What Is The difference Between A Carousel And A Merry-go-round? A carousel is a ride with a motor and horses, while a merry-go-round has neither a motor nor any horses. Carousels rise and fall, and merry-go-rounds can spin.
Does A Carousel Only Have Horses? Horses are frequently found on carousels, but other mythical animals, such unicorns or dragons, may also be present on some carousels.
Who Invented The Carousel? Thomas Bradshaw created the first carousel in 1861 and patented it in 1863
We love to visit Butling in Skegness, or should I say, just out of Skegness!
How far is it from Skegness to Butlins Skegness? The distance between Skegness and Butlins Skegness is 3 miles.
Always so much to do and so much fun to be had here. Great for families.

- What’s So Funny!?: Firstly, grr, I am trying to de-clutter my house as I did not realise until now how many things we keep that we really do not need. I have lost count how many big bags of clothing I have taken to the charity collection bins in just a few days.
- It is starting to feel a little bit better now. My house is starting to feel a lot bigger with de-clutter too. So much more to do now I am on a roll but I know when it is finished it will feel so much better. What’s So Funny!? Selfie Fun At Butlins.
- Horrible History Break: Fun Themed Breaks. Secondly, we decided to travel by train. So a nice early walk to the station was needed. Everyone up with a smile, with a spring in their step? Not likely!! After a few tantrums (mainly the Hubby;-) we are on our way. A few hours after getting up we arrive in Skegness to be greeted by the Jolly Fisherman. Beautiful photos, really bright and colourful. We're going to Butlins in the Easter holidays next year and I can't wait to go on this with The Boy. We went at Christmas but it was too damned cold! I've never seen one with a seatbelt on before, how clever!Popping over from Country Kids
