Bakewell : How does Your Garden grow?

We all love Bakewell. A small market town in the heart of the Peak District. Perfect for days out. We like to visit when there is an event happening on the showground as it gives you even more to see. Markets, shows, vintage fairs. We have to walk for miles and miles so we can treat ourselves to yummy fish and chips and a delicious cake afterwards.

As Bakewell is famous for its Bakewell puddings.

Here are some beautiful flowers I snapped away at on our last visit here…

How cool is the flowered bike in the window?…

A nice sunny day, makes it just that bit more perfect…

My favourite shot…

We love nipping down to Bakewell. There always seems to be a buzz about the place. The flower displays for the Tour de France have been brilliant this year.

There was me thinking you were talking about the type with a cherry on top 🙂 Love that flowering bike – I wish my real bike looked that cool! So many flowers, it's nice to see they put lots of effort into making the town look nice.

I love Bakewell too but have only been a few times – it seems a happy, vibrant market town which is great for a Londoner like me to experience – thanks for taking me back there this morning! 🙂
