Christmas Gift Guide For Him: Christmas 2017

I was asked to pick out some of my favourite gifts out for this Christmas gift guide for him from a few different brands.

Christmas Gift Guide For Him.

Happy Tuesday.

I can not believe how fast we are heading towards the end of November. Christmas is getting closer now. I must start buying some presents for friends and family.

It is not like me to leave things until the last minute!?

Not long before the Christmas tree goes up here either. The Children are off school on the 1st of December for inset day and are planning to put our Christmas tree up then.

The countdown is officially on.

33 days until Christmas.

Today I am sharing a few gift ideas I have found over the last few weeks for the Man in your life. I think Men are the hardest to buy for as they never know what they want.

Bourbon anyone?

We all love a drop or two of Bourbon here. Well, I mean me, the hubby and 2 eldest sons who are over 21 now!

This Bourbon sounds delicious with its rich spicy flavours. I can not wait to try some. Over ice would be perfect.

This drink would be perfect for someone who likes their quality Bourbon. It is on The Bourbon Bucket List: 15 Bourbons You Need to Try at Least Once list. So definitely one to try.

Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon:

With the growth in US-style smokehouses and BBQ street food, bourbon’s becoming increasingly popular here in the UK and Four Roses is leading the so-called ‘British bourbon boom’…

Four unique bourbon recipes are used in the production of this small batch bourbon from Four Roses, one of Kentucky’s most famous distilleries.

A small number of barrels are expertly selected by Four Roses’ Master Distiller Brent Elliot at the peak of their maturity.

Then, they’re hand blended and bottled to create what Brent calls ‘a symphony of rich spicy flavours’.

Enjoy it neat, over ice, or in a classic US cocktail such as the ‘Old Fashioned’ – single-handedly made popular again by the character Don Draper in Mad Men!

What’s It Taste Like?

Rich, spicy flavours along with sweet, fruity aromas and hints of sweet oak and caramel. Finishes soft, smooth and pleasantly long. The palate is creamy, ending with a well-balanced moderately sweet finish.

Four Roses Old Fashioned:

25 or 50ml Four Roses Small Batch. 2 dashes Angostura bitters, 1 sugar cube, few dashes plain water.
Place sugar cube in a glass and saturate with the bitters, add a dash of plain water. Mix until dissolved. Fill the glass with ice cubes and add the Four Roses. Garnish with an orange slice.

45%. 70cl.

Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon. £27.00 RRP. Which has just gone into Marks & Spencer nationally.

I know the perfect person for this gift.

Do you know someone who drinks Bourbon?
