But Autumn is also a time to invest in your health, warding off bugs as the winter approaches. As well as exercise, our health, of course, depends on what we eat, and little changes can make a big difference.

Chia Seeds are the highest combined plant source of Omega 3, fibre and protein, as well as being high in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, offering essential nutrition often missing in modern diets.

The nutrients in chia can help to sustain energy, improve digestive and heart health, and encourage healthy hair, skin and nails. Chia is also fantastic exercise fuel, helping you stay hydrated, increasing stamina, and aiding in muscle repair.

What’s more, to reap all these benefits you simply need to add one tablespoon (15g) per day to your diet. Chia seeds are incorporated into the recipes below in celebration of Autumn so why not start today and improve your health in preparation for winter, but there’s no harm in treating your taste buds at the same time.

How To Make Banana And Coconut Ghoul Pops

I am sorry but no features this week as I have run out of time again with my new work/family life schedule.

Over the weekend I have been in bad pain with my neck. I really must start taking my health more seriously!

Not only have I been doing more lifting with my work, overstretching taking bedding off, washing it and putting it back on the beds all weekend.

Yesterday I was in agony trying to get out of bed. I have done something to my neck like a trapped nerve, draft in it or overstretched it and it really hurts. It took me ages to get out of bed with the pain in my neck.

I was really worried I had done some serious damage, without knowing at the time what I’ve done.

On Friday I walked upstairs and pulled a leg muscle, Saturday hurt my side of my foot without knowing until the pain started to show.

Then Sunday I hurt my neck badly. I feel like I am ready to start falling apart anytime. I really need to start getting back out there exercising and eating more healthily, methinks!!

What has got you creative this week?

    Hi Claire,
I do hope you feel better. I have had neck pain and shoulder pain.. my stress tends to go there. Have you ever tried dry needling on deep tissue massage? It can certainly help those areas of pain. Do take care.

The answer is always ice cream! Always makes me feel better, hehe. Epsom salt in warm water on a washcloth is also really good for muscle pains (like the neck). Good better soon!
