Last week we had a Mexican feast and film night. Thanks to Santa Maria (previously Discovery Foods).They sent us a lovely parcel filled with lots of tasty things for us to try out. Perfect for our Mexican themed dinner. Best of all we all got to make our own fajitas with the toppings of our choice.
We got sent a lovely selection of things including in our parcel~
Wholemeal tortillas,
Nacho rolls,
Fajitas seasoning,
Salsa,
Red jalapeños,
Onion and garlic dip,
Guacamole style topping.
We love making fajitas, we serve them with chicken dippers, chilli con carne all kinds of meat and salads. I picked chicken to go with our fajitas, so we could really tasty the dips and toppings. We all enjoyed the sauces, nacho, tortillas and dips and had a fun meal together. My favourite dip was the onion and garlic, perfect with the nacho rolls. My daughter loved the guacamole topping, not to spicy. Only my 2nd oldest son was brave enough to eat the jalapeños though, haha..
We also got to pick a film to make a special night of it. My daughter is a big Frozen fan so we selected that off their list. After we had finished all our delicious food and I had done the washing up, me and my daughter went to watch Frozen for a little mother and daughter girly time..
