How To Wear Spring Dresses When It’s Not That Warm. Hello friend, happy Sunday. So how are you this cold and windy Sunday?
Spring might have arrived a month ago but when is the nice spring weather going to arrive?
It has been so cold around here lately and don’t even get me started on how much rain we have had!
The sunshine makes me so happy, so you can how grumpy I have been!?
How To Wear Spring Dresses When It’s Not That Warm.
How To Wear Spring Dresses When It’s Not That Warm:
I have not been letting the cold and miserable weather stop me from wearing my favourite dresses.
I am loving maxi dresses at the minute and I am especially loving this spring dress from Marks And Spencer that I picked up a few years ago.
How to wear spring dresses? So how have I been wearing my dresses when it’s not that warm?
How To Wear Spring Dresses When It’s Not That Warm Tips:
Firstly, try wearing scarves and accessories. Scarves are a fashionable accessory in addition to providing an additional layer of warmth around your neck. If it is really cold wear a blanket scarf or poncho.
If not that cold select thin scarves with bright colours to bring a splash of colour to your outfit. Dresses look great with scarfs and ponchos.
Secondly, go for materials that offer warmth without sacrificing breathability, such as cashmere, wool blends, or cotton mixes.
Steer clear of bulky materials like down or fleece since they could be too warm for the erratic springtime temperatures. A nice cardigan or even jumper over a dress looks good.
Thirdly, add an extra layer or two. Put on a thermal undershirt or a long-sleeve top as your base layer. For warmth without adding bulk, throw on a lightweight cardigan or jumper.
Add a chic coat or jacket at the end that you can take off quickly if the weather warms up.
Fourthly, look for options for outerwear that you can layer over your springtime outfits, such as lightweight puffer coats, denim jackets, or rain coats.
These items keep you warm while maintaining a stylish appearance. They are useful as well as stylish.
Keep Your Feet Toasty:
Fifth, to keep your feet toasty in the spring, choose closed-toe footwear like trainers or ankle boots rather than sandals and open-toed shoes.
With canvas trainers or suede ankle boots that go nicely with transitional outfits, you can still embrace spring fashions. Trainers and Converse look great with dresses.
Sixth, it’s all about embracing bright colours and fun patterns for spring. Wear pastel colours, flowery designs, or striking stripes dresses to help you easily transition from winter to spring. Try adding a shawl.
Seventh, In unpredictable spring weather, accessories like hats, gloves, and umbrellas are necessary.
A fun wooly hat can add fun to your outfit while keeping you warm, and a compact umbrella will ensure you stay dry during sudden rain showers.
