Spiced Hot Chocolate: Autumn Winter Warmer. Hello friends, so how are you today? Are you keeping warm and cosy? Because I know I am trying too.

Love hot chocolate?

So do you fancy making a nice and tasty spiced hot chocolate?

Makes 1 yummy cup full of steaming spiced hot chocolate.

Spiced Hot Chocolate: Autumn Winter Warmer.

How To Make Spiced Hot Chocolate:

You Will Need:

250ml milk or any milk of your choice

Large pinch allspice

Finely grated zest of ½ orange

50g good quality plain chocolate (70% cocoa solids), broken into small pieces

1 large glug of Amarula

Spiced Hot Chocolate: Autumn Winter Warmer Method: 

1.) Firstly, place the milk, orange zest and allspice into a small saucepan and very gently bring to the boil.

2.) Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate until it has completely melted.

3.) Strain through a small sieve or tea strainer into a cup.

4.) Then there’s the best bit – add a good glug of Amarula.

5.) Last but not least, stir in and enjoy.

PS…

If you are feeling really indulgent, add a dollop of whipped cream, marshmallows and/or grated chocolate on top.

So yummy!!
