Back To School #CreativeMondaysBlogHop
Happy Monday and welcome back to this week’s Creative Mondays Link Up. I hope you have all had a lovely weekend?
It is back to school today for my children after the bank holiday half term holidays. Honestly, so much has happened this week, it feels like ages ago when they were last at school.
My Daughter goes back to school 2 teeth lighter today. With another 2 teeth to be taken out on Friday. I bet she is hoping this week goes by slowly!!
I am so pleased you have stopped by today again to join us for this week’s Creative Mondays Blog Hop. What creative thing have you been up to this week?
Grab a drink and link up your creative/crafty/stylish posts and have fun finding amazing, inspiring and creative posts at this week’s party.
This week’s Creative Mondays featured blogs are:
It has rained all week whilst the children have been off school, then red hot all weekend. I am now trying to get the uncontrollable grass under control and get the garden ready for Summer. I love BBQ’S Aand Maria from Passion Fruit Paws And Peonie share’s How To Throw The Ultimate Garden Party.
There is everything you need for the perfect BBQ in this post. From the ultimate garden party music, lighting, seating, decorations, tableware, games, fire to the most important part (for me) bbq foods, treats and drinks.
Laurie from Vanity & Me looks super relaxed comfortable and stylish in this beautiful Kew Palm Print Maxi Dress. You can see where she has just been on holiday and read her post here: Evatrends – Relaxing In Comfort – Holiday Edit #4.
Julie from Sum Of Their Stories is super creative and she shows you how to make some beautiful tassel earring. The only thing you have to decide is, which colour to make! How To Make Tassel Earrings.
If you are looking to make any graduation cakes, how about making some of these by Marilyn over at Marilyn’s treats. Super creative and Marilyn says “I couldn’t believe how cute and simple they were! When I found out how simple they were to make I had to pinch myself for not even thinking about this!” You can find her recipe here: Cupcake Graduation Toppers. Whhat a great idea!
What has got you creative this week?

Aww, thanks Patrick 🙂
That cake is beautiful! Almost seems too pretty to eat. I have been wanting to get some tools from my local Michaels to make pretty baked goods, and some molds for things like chocolate covered pretzels.

Thanks for featuring my Tassel earrings, I’ve still not got round to making myself some more in different colours. I’ll put it to the top of my to do list!
Fingers crossed all goes well at the dentist for your daughter, it’s never nice to know you need work done. I think I prefer it when it’s a surprise and they say “lets do that right now!”
Author
Thanks Julie, I love the colour you picked 🙂 I hate going to the dentist myself 🙁
Claire, your features this week are fantastic! I am loving Laurie’s Eva Trends dress and Maria’s garden party ideas! I want to throw a garden party now (except I don’t have a garden…but I can improvise). And your food posts have given me some great summer meal ideas! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Shelbee, Maria’s bbq post has got me trying to get my garden grass all cut and dug up 🙂
Awwww I am sure your daughter isn’t too crazy about getting her teeth out. Perhaps this week back at school will keep her mind off of it. My son’s summer school starts tomorrow. I didn’t want him to go since he started going to preschool for the first last year for 3 hours. But my hubby thinks it’s good for my health to get a break so we’ll send him for 3 hours for every other week for 3 days.

Aww Maureen, I remember these days well. I can even remember the first day I left my 2 eldest Sons at school and they are in their 20’s now. I walked away from school crying!
Hope their term goes well!
