Five Photos On Friday: Exploring New York City

Five Photos On Friday: Exploring New York City. Happy Friday, friends. It is Friday, right? I am so mixed up with day, this week after my trip away.

So how has your week been? It is nearly June already! Wow, this year is going fast! So are the years!

I found this old Five On Friday post and so much has changed since then. So I have decided to give the post a make over and share some new five on Friday photos.

So today I am sharing 5 fun photo’s from the last few weeks. Five Photos On Friday: Exploring New York City.

Five Photos On Friday: Exploring New York City:

If you missed my first Instagram post back, you can see it here: New York, you have been amazing. We have took hundreds of photos and walked for miles.

Left our hotel at 11 o’clock yesterday morning and nearly home. Now all I want to do is have cuddles with my daughter and my fur baby Murphy and sleep for a week! New York.

Welcome everyone again to “Five Photos on Friday,” where I’ll be taking you on a visual tour of some of the fun photos I’ve taken this week.

This Friday, let’s explore the centre of New York City, a city that never fails to astound and inspire. These five pictures perfectly capture the colourful spirit of New York City.

Five Photos On Friday: Exploring New York City.

Firstly, Street Art.

You know how much I love finding street art, right?

With street art transforming ordinary walls into astonishing masterpieces. New York City had some fun pieces to stand in front of and pose in front of too.

This piece stands out because of the vivid colours and what better street art to let everyone know where you have been!

The Fire Department Connection:

Secondly, The Fire Department Connection.

I found these very interesting to see in New York as we have nothing like these in the UK. I kept looking for them and noticed them in all different colours.

The Fire Department of New York (FDNY) is an iconic part of the city’s landscape.

Walking through the streets, you’ll often spot the fire hydrants and connections, each uniquely weathered and marked by years of service. T

This photo highlights a fire department connection, a small yet significant reminder of the everyday heroes who keep the city safe.

The Fanta Cherry Slushie

Five Photos On Friday: Exploring New York City:

Thirdly, The Fanta Cherry Slushie.

Amidst the hustle and bustle, sometimes you need to cool down with a refreshing treat. This week, I indulged in a few vibrant Fanta Cherry Slushies.

The Fanta Cherry Slushie, Blue Raspberry Slushie and Coca-Cola frozen drinks were so big and so yummy!! Also, such a great price. Love a bargain so had a few over 5 days!!

The vivid red colour and icy texture were perfect for a warm spring afternoon. The sweet, tangy flavour took me back to carefree summer days.

It’s these simple pleasures that make exploring NYC so delightful—every corner offers a new taste experience.

The photo was taken on our way to our first ever New York Yankees game. Which deserves a post of it’s own. Coming soon!!

Visiting Central Park:

Fourthly, Visiting Central Park.

No visit to New York is complete without a stroll through Central Park. This urban oasis offers a serene escape from the city’s frenetic pace. So beautiful here.

My visit this week was a breath of fresh air, with blooming flowers and lush greenery creating a picturesque setting.

We manage to visit Central Park twice as the first day we got there it was getting cloudy and going dark early, so not much time.

We did visit again on our last day and did have to carry our hand luggage with us though, so it did get tiring!

These trainers have walked all over New York, over the last few days!! Loved wearing these trainers, they are so comfy.

To say, I had not time to bed them in. They were perfect I would say!! How To Style Your Rolling Stones T-Shirt.

Seeing All The Sky Scrapers:

Fifthly, Seeing All The Sky Scrapers.

The view from the park up to the sky scrapers is amazing.

From the peaceful Bow Bridge to the bustling Bethesda Terrace, Central Park is a testament to the city’s ability to blend nature and urban life seamlessly. You can see all the sky scrapers in the distance but from the park it is nice and peaceful.

This photo captures the tranquil beauty of the park, a haven for both locals and tourists.

Thirdly, Yummy Pancakes. Pancake Day turned into pancake week. My kids love pancakes. We all love pancakes. Lots of different topping to try out.

Fourthly, Mud Run. Cross Country running for my youngest son last week. He came home nice and clean, NOT!! haha!! Mud! Kids just love mud, don’t they?

Beware Of The Crocodiles. Beware of the croc!? I would not have liked to run through this!! Yes, my son had to run in it!!

Hello. You have some interesting things here this week. First I can't believe your son ran through water that has crocodiles, and second Mollie was trying to skateboard?! You should try to get her to do it again and video it! I'd love to see that.
