Tried & Tested

We have just arrived home after spending a wonderful but chilly weekend away in London with my family. I was so glad I decided to take my new lovely, warm and cosy new Millets hooded jacket with me.

I got sent this coat last week to review.

Millets Hooded Long Jacket: Review: Tried & Tested:

About the millets Hooded Long Jacket: Craghoppers are experts when it comes to designing weather resistant jackets. Their Women’s Bingley Hooded Long Jacket is a great example of their skill.

It combines Thermo and knit-look fleece fabric with a brushed inner to insulate and warm your core. Allowing you to keep going when the temperature drops.

It has a longer length which protects a larger area of your body whilst the brushed inner improves fit and comfort.

This versatile jacket has a grown-on hood with faux-fur trim which can be adjusted using a waxed drawcord to improve weather protection.

Across the full length zip, an inner guard shields you from cold weather whilst lower zipped pockets provide the ideal space for carrying essential gear easily.

Millets Hooded Long Jacket: Review: Tried & Tested:

My thoughts on the jacket: As we were off to London for a couple days and carrying round all our belongings on the last day, I did not want to take my big coat.

As going in and outside of shops, museums etc, it does start to make you feel really hot and tired.

So I thought what better time to try out my new jacket? I was right. It was lovely and warm but not too heavy to carry around. How cool!!

Millets Hooded Long Jacket: Review: Tried & Tested

We arrived in St Pancras at around 4 o’clock on Saturday and it was cold, windy with a bit of rain blowing from time to time.

I was really impressed with the jacket, stylish and with the brushed inner to insulate it really does keep you warm and cosy.

Having just a short sleeved jumper dress on I was surprised how warm I felt later that night when the wind picked up even more.

My jacket was great for going inside where it was warm as it felt nice and lightweight and kept me nice and warm in the wind even though it was not a big thick jacket.

Tried & Tested

The jacket had a two way opening zip.

Treat for unzipping at the bottom when you want to sit down and 2 big zipped pockets at the sides great for keeping things safe and handy to get to.

The jacket also comes with a hood with faux-fur trim which can be adjusted using a waxed draw cord which was great when we had a little downpour.

House Of Fraser Jacket Review:

Last but not least, last week the House of Fraser asked me if I would like to take a look at their range of ladies coats and jackets.

They sell many of these around the £30.00 price tag.

I know they are a retailer of high-quality premium brands so I was interested in seeing what range of ladies coats they offered around this price point. House Of Fraser Jacket Review.
