The North Face Jacket Review: Creative Mondays

 The North Face Jacket Review:

A few weeks ago Blacks kindly asked me if I would like to pick a Spring jacket to review.

How lovely of them!

My padded ski jacket is now starting to get a bit to warm, now the weather is getting milder.

On Sunday and the first day of Spring I got to wear my jacket on an adventure me and the children had up at the park.

The North Face Jacket Review: Creative Mondays

My children have just discovered Geocaching and wanted to share the fun with me.

Have you heard of this before? If not, it is a app on your phone that points you in the right direction to a hidden treasure container.

There are treasure boxes all over the world.

When you find the container there is a book inside that you sign and date to say you have found it.

We are going to start looking for them when we explore around where we live and when we visit new places.

Anyway onto the jacket:

Over 40 style blogger

How lovely is my jacket? Light green on the outside with a nice pink mesh lining. Very stylish. Whoo and it is waterproof too.

My youngest son said “you look so thin in this jacket” Aww bless.

Then quickly mentioned “as you usually look a lot bigger when you go out in that big Winter jacket” Typical!!

Thanks for hosting Claire! Although I am aware of the brand North Face, we all have Columbia jackets instead. I've always wanted one, but couldn't see paying such a $$ for a jacket. Although I've always heard lovely things said. We may have to get one next fall. Have a lovely week!

The jacket is lovely although as a hiker I would've loved it if you'd given more about the details of the jacket ie how many pockets, how sturdy are the fastnings, what's the hood like – is it detachable or does it roll up into the collar of the jacket?I've not done Geocaching – must try it, sounds alot of fun! Thanks for hosting.

    • 27 March 2016 / 12:40

Thanks for the comment. Aww sorry I forgot to add a few bits. The jacket has 2 pockets and the hood rolls away nicely. As a hiker I bet you would love Geocaching as you would find them all over 🙂
