5 Throwback Sunday Memo Ideas To Inspire Your Team, Friends, Social Media Followers Or Blog Readers.
Firstly, Share An Old Photo.
Share an old photo and talk about where and when it was taken. Take part in a fun competition with your team, friends, social media followers or blog readers to discover who has the most intriguing or humorous image from the past by asking friends, family or even staff to share or send in their favourite old photos. Maybe even give an award or awards for the top submissions.
So here Is my old photo. My photo is from November 2015. When I went to a photo shoot with Marisota.
I got 100’s of pictures sent me from a photo shoot. So many favourite photos and this one makes me laugh out loud!
The camera man was filming the day and I was very nervous at first. After a while I got use to him filming. Trouble is I am not usually to good with speaking on camera. My words usually all come out wrong!! Have you ever done this?
I did the other day on the phone and we all laughed together.
5 Throwback Sunday Memo Ideas To Inspire Your Team:
Secondly, Create A Playlist Of Your Favourite Songs From Your Favourite Decade.
Create a playlist of popular songs from various decades, then play it throughout the day. If a blogger write a post or simply make a playlist to share with friends.
Encourage staff members to discuss their favourite songs and the memories they create.
My playlist would be from the 90s and it would go something like this:
Enjoy my 90s playlist filled with the infectious sounds of Shaggy, Spice Girls, KWS, and more!
- Spice Girls – “Spice Up Your Life”
- Vengaboys – “We Like to Party! (The Vengabus)”
- Shaggy – “Oh Carolina”
- KWS – “Please Don’t Go”
- Spice Girls – “Wannabe”
- Vengaboys – “Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!”
- Shaggy – “Boombastic”
- Vengaboys – “Up & Down”
- Blur- “Parklife”
- The Offspring- “Pretty Fly”
To name just a few!!!
A Throwback Trivia Quiz:
Thirdly, A Throwback Trivia Quiz.
Throwback Create a trivia contest based on current events, historical figures, and memorable instances from the past. Make a list of inquiries and put your team, friends, social media followers or blog readers to the test to see how much they know.
Decorate the office or home with retro-inspired objects, such as old vinyl records, vintage posters, or antique artefacts. Create an aesthetically nostalgic environment that encourages dialogue and reminiscence.
My trivia quiz question would be, when did the Raleigh Chopper become popular?
I was the only girl around our house as a child and all they gave me their old chopper bikes! I was very spoilt and ended up with about 3. If only I had them now!!
Fourthly, Share Your Favourite Childhood Memories.
Share A Memory with your team, friends, social media followers or blog readers or people you choose and urge them to do the same.
Ask friends to share their favourite recollections within the comments. I loved all the fashion in the 80’s.
Why not create a day where everyone dresses in the vogue of a particular era by calling it Retro Fashion Day. Let everyone show off their appreciation for vintage clothing, whether it be from the ’80s, ’90s, or any other era.
Fifth, Movie Marathon.
Talk about your favourite legendary films from various eras. Vote for your favourites, then spend the day watching classic films with your friends.
I love The Full Monty. Also, I can not believe a new TV min series is coming out in June! I an so excited to see this!!
