It just so happens I was in the middle of decorating my kitchen and I was on the lookout for a nice new cake stand.
Perfect timing!
I adore cake stands and wish I had more room to collect them.
I would love to have lots on display on a Welsh Dresser if I only had more space.
Maybe my next house!!

I was looking for a cake stand with a glass lid, which allows you to store your cakes in after cooking.
Rather than as usual hiding away in Tupperware, or should I say plastic box.
Only getting out when you want to eat.
I like to have eyes on my cakes the whole time!

From something plain to a more extravagant Royal Albert china 3 tier stand to a grand glass one.

I purchased this lovely looking classic cake stand for my wife as she really is into cake making and decorating, after a like warm wash to remove cream from the glass it only went and snapped which was really disappointing. Has its almost new I was wondering if I can obtain the glass only. Any ideas ?

Hi Michael, thanks for the comment. I would not know where you could buy just the top from. Maybe Ebay? It sounds like it would be nice to display the cake on the table still when serving so you can still use it? If you have brought it recently, I would ask in store for some advice.
