Is The North Face Women’s Resolve Jacket worth buying? Here’s my honest review of the lightweight, waterproof jacket, including fit, features, style and everyday wear.

So are you looking for a lightweight waterproof jacket for walking, everyday wear or those unpredictable British showers?

I tested The North Face Women’s Resolve Jacket and was impressed by how lightweight, practical and stylish it felt.

The Resolve is a waterproof women’s jacket designed for walking, hiking, commuting and everyday outdoor wear.

It features a lightweight mesh lining, adjustable hood, two useful pockets and seam-sealed waterproof construction.

Happy Monday everyone. So I hope you have had a lovely weekend? A few weeks ago Blacks kindly asked me if I would like to pick a Spring jacket to review. 

How lovely of them!

My padded ski jacket is now starting to get a bit to warm, now the weather is getting milder.

So on Sunday and the first day of Spring I got to wear my jacket on an adventure me and the children had up at the park. 

My children have just discovered Geocaching and wanted to share the fun with me.

Have you heard of this before? If not, it is a app on your phone that points you in the right direction to a hidden treasure container.

There are treasure boxes all over the world.

When you find the container there is a book inside that you sign and date to say you have found it.

We are going to start looking for them when we explore around where we live and when we visit new places. 

Anyway onto the jacket: How lovely is my jacket? Light green on the outside with a nice pink mesh lining. Very stylish.

Whoo and it is waterproof too. I love it and how beautiful is the colour?

The North Face Women’s Resolve Jacket Review: Is It Worth It?

My Verdict: Yes – for a lightweight everyday waterproof jacket, I really liked it. I also think it is worth the money.

The biggest things I love about the Resolve are how lightweight it feels, the flattering shape, the bright lining and the fact that it keeps the rain out without feeling like a bulky winter coat.

I’d particularly recommend it for spring walks, everyday errands, travel and those changeable British-weather days when you need something waterproof but don’t want to wear a heavy coat.

It’s not a warm winter coat, so I’d layer it with a jumper or fleece when temperatures drop. But for a lightweight waterproof jacket, it does exactly what I wanted it to do.

I love it for spring and milder-weather days. It’s lightweight, comfortable and waterproof without the bulk of a winter coat.

Here’s what I thought about the fit, style, features and how useful it is for everyday wear.

I love my new jacket. It is lightweight, stylish, a lovely colour and waterproof. It is going to come in very handy over the next few months.
