Having a puppy means lots of scratches on the legs. I have so many and they really hurt! Especially when she cuts my skin.

Away around this is jeans on cold day and maxi dresses on hot days.

I am so glad I brought this dress twice!

A black and a lovely orange one too. Both the same dress but just a different colour.

That means I get to wear it loads and no one ever knows its the same dress but different colours. Only you of course, shhh!!! Haha.

I adore this maxi dress, it is so floaty and cool on hot days. Love the pattern too.

How to wear a maxi dresses for summer?

Simply team up with sandals and add a thin cardigan if it gets cooler.

Where Did I Get My Maxi Dress From?

I picked this one and my orange one up from Matalan. I love Matalan range of maxi dresses and skirts.

Are Maxi Dresses Still In Style?

Maxi dresses are always in style, every summer. They never go out of fashion. If they do ever go out of fashion, make them be in fashion again by creating your own style. I always do.

Are Maxi Dresses Flattering?

Yes, I think they are. Yo can style them up for a night out with heels and a belt or make them more casual with sandals and floaty for the day.

Can Maxi Dresses Be Business And Casual?

Yes for business why not team them up with heels and a blazer. For casual, why not team them up with sandals or flats shoes.

Can You Wear Maxi Dresses In The Winter?

Maxi dresses look great teamed up with heeled boots and chunky jumpers. You can even put on your thick tights and thermal t-shirts underneath too.

On Sunday, we went to Bakewell for the day. Bakewell is one of my favourite places to visit whenever we have the opportunity.

Especially when the weather is great. With my birthday money in May, I bought myself this lovely dress last spring.

I also got another one I posted here: Bee Kind, Bee Honest, Bee Positive, Bee Happy, Bee Grateful, Bee You, was one of the two I treated myself too.

I kept them for the best, but they ended up being useless, with covid being around.

As a result, I’m getting a lot of use out of them presently.
