The Day We Went To Visit A Tree Because We Planned It! Hello friends, so how are you today? So today I have a fun post to share with you; The Day We Went To Visit A Tree.
We have been having so much fun over the holidays and one day we went to visit a tree!! Why, you might well ask?
“The Day We Went To Visit A Tree” a whimsical journey filled with fond memories, wonder and discovery.
As we embarked on our adventure, anticipation danced in the air like leaves rustling in the wind. With each step, the world around us seemed to come alive with the promise of exploration.
The Day We Went To Visit A Tree.
It was not just any tree though, a tree we helped to plant. A few years ago I was asked to come along with my daughters class at school to plant a few trees.

The Day We Went To Visit A Tree:
This tree is one my daughter and a few of her school friends planted. We had completely forgot about planting the tree { Ekk, sorry tree} until we was visiting the park.
My Daughter mentioned” can you remember that tree we planted mum?” Aw yes ‘I replied’ and off we went to look for it.
The tree, standing tall and proud, beckoned to us like an old friend, its branches reaching out in welcome.
“Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.” – Warren Buffett.
As we approached, a sense of awe washed over us, marveling at the tree’s majestic presence and the stories it held within.
We traced our fingers along its rough surface, feeling a connection to nature that transcended words.
In that moment, time stood still, and we were simply sharing a moment of pure, unadulterated beauty with a tree.
And as we bid farewell, our hearts overflowed with gratitude for the simple yet profound joy of spending time in the company of nature.
My daughter enjoyed visiting the tree, and talking about when we planted it. We must visit it next year to see how much it has grown.

Thirdly, What a cool bench in Sherwood Forest! This photo, which I captured deep in the woods, is one of my favourites.
When I see this photo, something triggers a series of stories in my imagination. It was very quiet around here. Sitting amongst the shadows and fallen Autumn leaves among the trees. Located in the heart of the forest. Do you want to have a seat here? Shadow Shot Sunday: How Cool Is This Bench!?

Your daughter must have been pleased to see her sapling growing into a bigger tree, did you find the exact one she planted, or were there they all grown over and not easy to decide?Lovely to know that she helped nature and all the birds and beasties using the tree will be very pleased to have it.Thanks for linking up to #whatevertheweather. x
We did exactly the same thing at our school 2 years ago, it is lovely to see the trees getting bigger and more tree like than the little saplings we had planted.
What a great idea. You could make a regular thing in years to come. Even take your grandkids one day and then they can take you lol lol
I'm sure the tree didn't mind being forgotten for a while! In years to come your kids can picnic with their kids under it. I love that idea #magicmoments
How fun to go check in on the tree!
