The Milk Race And A Flashback Friday. Hello friends, so how are you today?
The Milk Race And A Flashback Friday:
The Milk Race And A Flashback Friday. We have been non stop this week with the kids off school and my Husband off work. Lots of fun days out. From Lincoln to London. On Sunday we went for a day out on the train to Nottingham. This is not too far away from home, always delivering a smashing day out.
The now annual Milk Race is back in the city. After being bored on the train on the way in, with the hubby telling us all about the original Milk Race. When he was a lad!!
We had a good walk round the City, some retail therapy, had our traditional walk up-to the Castle. Then finally went to encourage some cyclists in the Milk Race. If we are not exercising ourselves, cheering others on is always good fun.
I spy the camera men on top of the Council House, now that is how they get the cool views!
The Milk Race is a fun event that encourages people of all ages to join in the cycle fun. Then later on they have the elite cyclists take to the streets for the main races. We love to just watch at the minute though. Added bonus is a free milkshake so the kids love this too.
Maybe one year we will bring the bikes down and do it ourselves?
How hard is it getting the kids to have a photo nowadays!?! “No photos now mum” then I forgot to get some! So I am sharing some of the photos next, from previous years with a Flashback Friday post.

It's sad when they don't want to be in photos any more!!! This looks like great fun and a free milkshake is a GREAT incentive to support it!x
