You Don’t Have To Go Fast, You Just Have To Go. Hello friends, happy Saturday. So how are you today?
I am happy to say I am finally out running again. When you have a break from running it gets harder to get back into it.
Then before you know it, your on another break. This has been happening for years now so I’ve taken the bull by the horns and pushed myself to start again.
You Don’t Have To Go Fast, You Just Have To Go:
You Don’t Have To Go Fast, You Just Have To Go. I must admit it is down to Parkrun opening up again that I have started.
I’ve been saying all the way through lockdown I must get fit for Parkrun and then doing nothing about it.
Not last week but the week before I did a mile run, twice that week then took on the challenge that is Gedling Country Park, Parkrun.
Oh the joys, this is a hard Parkrun at the best of times, never mind with no training under your belt.
You Don’t Have To Go Fast, You Just Have To Go. A few hard hills and a fast walk up those I completed it in 42 minutes and 5 seconds.
A long way off my PB in 2016 of 30 minutes 33 seconds but I got out there and did it.
I have last Saturday’s Parkrun story to tell and today’s but everything is a little behind as I lost my poor Mollie The Collie last week. But running is helping me get through these sad times.
You Don’t Have To Go Fast, You Just Have To Go:
You Don’t Have To Go Fast, You Just Have To Go. Now I’m back out training and planning my faster time goals.
Wish me luck!
Who else runs?
Anyone else is getting back into running?

Because the weather has been so lovely recently, we went for a run somewhere different yesterday morning when it was nice again.
I’m Forcing Myself To Get Out Of The House. Locking yourself up and staying inside when the weather is nice can be detrimental to your mental health.
You reach a point where you don’t want to leave the house at all, but you know you must because if you don’t, you will never go.
I had to persuade myself to go to work, and if I hadn’t gone to work, I doubt I would have left the house at all. A Run Around Gedling Country Park.

Thirdly, Gel Luminus Review: Pound The Road.
Pound The Road is a Gel Luminus review. How are you doing today, friends? I was ecstatic to be picked to road test some running gear at the beginning of August. The Running Bug, Asics, and Intersports gave me the opportunity to road test some Asics trainers.
In the #PoundTheRoad promotion, all of these items are exclusive to Intersports. It’s very exciting for me because I adore getting new running gear.
Just the motivation I needed to maintain running during the summer vacation. So there will be no lying in bed for me. Every morning, I was out pounding the pavement.
With all of my children sound asleep! I also enjoyed going for a run first thing in the morning. I was really fortunate to be given the opportunity to review the Asics Indicate trainers, the Asic Gel Glorify. Gel Luminus Review.

Thanks Lisa. I got flu and had to take some time off again, grr.
I’m so sorry for your loss. We never have enough time with them!
I haven’t had to take a lot of time off this year, although I had a few weeks at the beginning of the year when I wasn’t feeling good. But between vaccines and caring for my mom, it’s been a year of starting and stopping and low mileage!
As they say, forward is a pace.

I am definitely trying to get back to running after an operation in May! I was doing so well and then last week I basically had no time or energy, nor was the weather playing very nicely!! I’m sure you had similar weather, we get yours generally 1 – 2 days later! ha!
last week we actually were fully preparing for our parkrun launch! And it went very well but as RD of course I could not run it.
So sorry to hear about Mollie. x
