Chicken And Chorizo Picnic Pies:
Thirdly, Chicken And Chorizo Picnic Pies, anyone? Today I’m sharing a fun picnic pie recipe idea with you.
Homemade Chicken and Chorizo Picnic Pies are a perfect addition to any picnic, offering a delicious and hearty option that is sure to please everyone.
To start with, the flaky, golden crust encases a flavourful filling that combines tender chicken with spicy chorizo, creating a delightful contrast in every bite.
Moreover, the savoury blend of meats is complemented by the addition of onions, and garlic, which add a subtle sweetness and depth of flavour.
Furthermore, these pies are convenient to transport and easy to serve, making them an ideal choice for outdoor gatherings.
Additionally, their individual portions mean they can be enjoyed mess-free, without the need for utensils.
Overall, these picnic pies not only provide a satisfying meal but also bring a touch of homemade comfort to any picnic setting. How fun to make these up and eat over the weekend!?
Also, perfect to take on a picnic if the weather stays nice!!

Strawberry Cream Victoria Sponge:

Fourthly, Strawberry Cream Victoria Sponge. Also, named after Queen Victoria herself, there are few cakes that can beat this all-time classic recipe.
You can spread strawberry jam (turning it into a jam sponge) or whipped vanilla cream on the base of one sponge cake as a filling, or both.
This classic recipe is also one of my favourites. Also, a traditional cake anyone? A BerryWorld Strawberry Cream Victoria Sponge anyone.

Make Some Kids’ Layered Lunch Pots: Back to School with Watercress:
Fifth, Make Some Fun Pasta Pots. Kids’ Layered Lunch Pots featuring watercress are an innovative and nutritious option for back-to-school meals. They are designed to keep kids excited about healthy eating. How cool!
These colourful, portable pots layer vibrant, fresh ingredients to create a visually appealing and delicious lunch that’s easy to pack and enjoy.
Also, they make great grown-up lunch boxes, too! What is not to love? The base layer often includes cooked macaroni pasta, providing a hearty foundation.
This is topped with a yummy tuna mayonnaise, and an array of crunchy vegetables, including bell peppers, and sweetcorn.
The star ingredient, peppery watercress, adds a burst of flavour and a powerful dose of vitamins and minerals, promoting overall health and energy.
Finished with some salt and pepper, these layered lunch pots offer a balanced, wholesome meal that kids will love.
Perfect for busy school days, they ensure children get the nourishment they need in a fun and appealing way. I would recommend putting them into a plastic box for taking to school!

Take A Trip To The Shops. We Have Visited Loughborough This Week: Fashion Advice From A 12 Year Old.
Have you been taking any photos this week or have you been enjoying the sunshine too much and forgot? So my Husband took this photo of me over the weekend when we went to visit our eldest son in Loughborough.
My daughter and I went shopping for a few things for the beach next week and I treated myself to this fun sun hat. Don’t know why I always go for bright colours?
I was burning hot as it was lovely and sunny and decided to wear my new hat.
Make sense. I stop burning and it is easier to carry the shopping bags!!
My daughter turned to me and said “No way”. “Stick to the plan”. That goes with your new sundress and not this dress!
Whipped it off my head and popped it back into my bag. Then got her new sun hat out and said ” mines OK, it goes together nicely. (Which it did!).
