The Nopal Smoothie…

Happy Saturday.

Have you heard of truenopal Cactus Water before?

truenopal cactus water is a 100% natural hydration drink with a refreshing fruit taste.

With no added sugar ( good to know!). The drinks have half the amount of calories seen in leading coconut waters. How cool!?

The prickly pear cactus water has just launched here the UK and is the first of its kind.

truenopal have teamed up with Vonshef (smoothie blender company) and a few selected bloggers to share this healthy and tasty smoothie recipe.

On Saturday I received this lovely hamper to make this very tasty smoothie.

I always like my drink and smoothie bottles to be BPA free ๐Ÿ™‚ This Vonshef smoothie maker is perfect then!!

The Nopal Smoothie:

  • 500 ml true nopal
  • 1/3 fresh pineapple, peeled
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 Banana
  • 1/2 lime
  • Handful of Spinach (Optional)

How To Make:

  1. Peel and chop your banana, pineapple and avocado add to the smoothie bottle.
  2. Pop your truenopal cactus water inside and squeezed lime juice.
  3. Add a big handful of washed spinach.
  4. Smooth together until all fruit hs blitz into small pieces.
  5. Sever straight away.
  6. YUMMY!!

I made up my smoothie but mine was minus the avocado.

Mine got crushed in transit so I went to the shop to buy another.

When I was cutting it I realised it was a ripen at home one! Doh!!

It took me ages to cut it in half and then I couldn’t remove the stone or skin.

Grrr… No worries though, it tasted great without the avocado in.

I cannot wait to pick one up next week though I am sure it will be delicious.

It tasted great. I also made one up for my Teenage Son and asked him what he thought of it.

“It tastes pretty great to be fair”

 Was his reply!

A big thumbs up from us then!! :):)
