Filo Baked Le Rustique Camembert With Honey’d Pecans. Hello friends. Happy Sunday. So how is your weekend going so far?

This delectable Filo Baked Le Rustique Camembert is the perfect way to start a dinner party. We would recommend using a ripe Camembert to let the thyme compliment the distinctive flavours of the cheese. Finally, the honey’d pecans add a deliciously sweet surprise!
How To Make Filo Baked Le Rustique Camembert with Honey’d Pecans:
Serves: Four
Prep Time: 25 minutes
Cooking Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
1 ripe Le Rustique Camembert 250g
25g pecans
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp salted butter
1 tbsp chopped thyme, chopped
4 sheets of filo pastry
1 tbsp chopped rosemary, chopped
Garnish: endive, rocket and chicory leaves dressed with olive oil
How To Make:
1.) Firstly, preheat oven to 160°C/ 140°C Fan/Gas Mark 3.
2.) In a bowl mix the nuts and honey, place on a baking tray and bake at 160 degrees for 5 – 10 minutes. When cool break into chunks.
3.) Turn the oven up to 180°C/ 160°C fan/Gas Mark 4.
4.) Melt the butter. Lay all 4 filo sheets on a baking tray and butter each layer.
5.) Slice the top off the Le Rustique Camembert and place in the middle of the filo.
6.) Sprinkle over the herbs and a few of the pecans.
7.) Wrap the Le Rustique Camembert in the pastry to make a parcel and brush the outside of the pastry.
7.) Cook for 20 minutes just before you are ready to enjoy.
9.) Last but not least, place on a plate, garnish with the salad, sprinkle with the pecans and enjoy warm with vegetable or bread croutons.
