Easy Salmon Sandwiches: Perfect For Afternoon Tea

Easy Salmon Sandwiches: Perfect For Afternoon Tea. Easy salmon sandwiches are a delicious way to bring elegance to your afternoon tea without spending hours in the kitchen.

Light, fresh, and full of flavour, they’re perfect for both special occasions and relaxed weekends at home.

Start with soft, thinly sliced bread, white or wholemeal both work beautifully.

Spread a layer of cream cheese for a rich, smooth base, then add delicate slices of smoked salmon. The combination is simple but incredibly satisfying, with the salmon adding a subtle, savoury depth.

To step up the flavour, sprinkle over rocket and add a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.

A few raspberries can bring a refreshing twist, while a touch of black pepper enhances the overall taste without overpowering the filling.

For the perfect afternoon tea presentation, trim off the crusts and cut the sandwiches into neat fingers or small triangles. This not only looks more refined but also makes them easier to enjoy alongside a cup of tea.
