5 Homemade Valentine Recipes To Try…

Are you a fan of Valentines Day?

Do you like to go out for a nice cooked meal or stay home and cook something nice for someone special?

Do you like to prepare a romantic meal at home or plan a fun trip away?

We like to go out if we have a babysitter ( if one of my sons come home from Uni). We also like to stay in too and I cook us two up a romantic meal with a bottle of wine and some yummy treats for after. Movie night and lights down low. With the kids running in and out, of course.

With Valentine’s day just around the corner, I thought I would share 5 yummy recipes you can make for your loved ones.

Perfect if your partner has a sweet tooth, like me!! Top of my menu is always what sweet will we be having afterwards!? Then I think of the main course. Got to get my priorities right, haven’t I? Sweet tooth and all.

5 Homemade Valentine Recipes To Try:

1.) How amazing do these Pistachio And Raspberry Love Hearts look!? Meringues love hearts are the perfect thing to serve up as a meal for lovers, don’t you think?

2.) These Cranberry Cupcakes And Raspberry Blush are adorable! Cupcakes and drinks, yum yum!!

3.) These Raspberry Shortcake Hearts look rather posh, don’t they? I would love to be served up these on Valentines Day. How sweet?

4.) Everyone loves cookies especially I Love You Cookies !! Don’t they!? Cookies and milk, yum, yum!!

5.) My husband would skip the cakes as his favourite treat would be Home Made Trifles. He loves trifle and so do I come to think of it 🙂

What would be your loved one’s favourites treats be on Valentine’s Day?

Do you celebrate Valentine’s day? Or is it like any day of the week to you?

I'm sure the two of us would truly enjoy the "I LOVE YOU" cookies best; since you asked…but they'd be washed down with the Raspberry Blush!!!!
